Brooklyn Mills

Community Impact Coordinator

Brooklyn is a Utah native and attended the University of Utah, earning both a Master of Public Health (MPH) and B.S. in Health, Society and Policy with a minor in Sociology. Growing up, Brooklyn always knew she wanted to help people and throughout college, discovered nonprofits were the perfect avenue to do so. She has volunteered with various nonprofits in the community, specifically those that provide direct, hands-on services to populations. While in the MPH program, Brooklyn interned for a food waste and food insecurity nonprofit where she discovered a passion for improving food security for the most vulnerable populations in Utah. Brooklyn currently serves as a board member for Waste Less Solutions, is a Utah Area Health Education Centers (AHEC) Scholar, and is a member of the Utah Public Health Association, the American Public Health Association, Delta Omega Honorary Society in Public Health, Sigma Alpha Phi Honor Society, and Mortar Board Honor Society.

While not working, Brooklyn can be found spoiling her dog, playing tennis or golf, or in the kitchen creating a new recipe to share with family and friends.
