The Community Foundation of Utah is committed to expanding Utah's philanthropic resources and ensuring the long term financial health of the nonprofit sector. The foundation was granted public charity tax-exempt status in March of 2008 and is a registered charitable organization with the State of Utah and a member of the national Council on Foundations. We are governed by a Board of Trustees which oversees our activities and ensures compliance with our charter, the laws of Utah, and the regulations of the Internal Revenue Service.
