The Community Foundation of Utah is committed to transparency and sound governance. The foundation was granted public charity tax-exempt status in March of 2008 and is a registered charitable organization with the State of Utah and a member on the National Council on Foundations. We are governed by a Board of Trustees which oversees our activities and ensure compliance with our charter, the laws of Utah, and the regulations of the Internal Revenue Service.
We are pleased to share the Community Foundation of Utah’s Annual Report for 2010, a year marked by tremendous growth and exciting initiatives.
At the Community Foundation of Utah, we believe that everyone can be a part of changing our communities for the better, whether those communities are places – our neighborhoods and schools, the places we worship, our mountains and deserts – or the communities of people with whom we share relationships. As this annual report illustrates, each of us has a role to play in the future of these communities. We hope that you feel as proud of the accomplishments described in the report as we do and celebrate your part in our notable successes.
