What a morning!
120 of Utah’s most dynamic and innovative leaders from the business and nonprofit sectors met for 90 fast paced minutes of ‘speed mentoring’. This year had a focus on sustainability, and nonprofits shared their ideas for social enterprise. In turn they were able to learn more about everything from finance to marketing strategies to web development. Feedback:
- “I loved that I was able to speak with entrepreneurs from very diverse backgrounds. It was like going to eight different consulting companies. There was a perfect mix of expertise and I was able to get new ideas and equally rewarding to take ideas from businesses that most non-profits would never think about.”
- “I deeply enjoyed just the fantastic stream of ideas from the mentors. Their continuous stream of creativity is astounding. I also felt very inspired by their desire to help the nonprofits become better and stronger. It was very invigorating and I feel like I have new ideas that will better that.”
