“Real estate professionals know how important a home is to people, family and communities” said Scott Chapman of Chapman Richards and Associates, whose agents have begun Chapman Richards Cares, a committee of real estate agents working to encourage and organize charitable participation in the Salt Lake Valley, through the Community Foundation of Utah’s Corporate Advised Fund program.
Since its inception a little over one year ago, Chapman Richards Cares has raised $10,072 which has been donated to local charities including The Road Home, The Bennion School, the Maliheh and Hope Free Clinics, Utah Food Bank and The Candy Cane Store. Besides the great feeling they get from participating in the community this way, the agents are finding other great benefits of their involvement in connecting with clients as well as their fellow brokers through service.
