Dr. F. Craig Sudbury Memorial Scholarship

Intended to help recent graduates of the Job Corps program attend college. The scholarship fund was established to honor Dr. F. Craig Sudbury, who devoted his life to educating and uplifting others. Dr.Sudbury spent 35 years working for Management and Training Corporation (MTC), where he designed and implemented educational programs and trained leaders at the Job Corps centers across the United States.

Award Amount: $500-$1,000

To qualify for this grant award you must:

  • a graduate of the Job Corps program from one of the centers identified in the attached list
  • plan to attend a two or four year accredited college, university or vocational/technical school
  • demonstrate academic achievement (your most recent evaluation score must be 3.5 or higher), leadership ability, and community involvement
  • online and for profit institutions and graduate studies are not eligible.

Be prepared to submit the following documents:

  • proof of Job Corps Graduation
  • acceptance letter from eligible college/university or proof of application
  • essay
  • most recent evaluation scores
  • letter of recommendation.
