Housing and Homelessness Prevention Fund

The Housing and Homelessness Prevention Fund is dedicated to improving the delivery of services to individuals and families experiencing or at risk for homelessness.

Our Goals

The Housing and Homelessness Prevention Fund is guided by a committee of individuals who share a common vision to provide housing and services to those who are at risk for homelessness or are homeless. Collaboration between the State of Utah, local governments, service providers, businesses, community leaders, private funders, and representatives of individuals who are homeless utilize the fund's flexibility to select and fund organizations to respond to changing community needs.

Be Part of the Impact!

You can get involved by attending one of our events, joining our committee, or donating to the Housing and Homelessness Prevention Fund.

  • It's easy. You receive immediate tax deductions for your contributions. We accept gifts of stock, real estate, and other complex assets.
  • It's flexible. You can be certain that your gifts will support Utah's community in perpetuity, even as our state's most pressing homelessness challenges change.
  • It's efficient. Your contributions are pooled with others, creating greater collective giving power.
  • It's impactful. We provide assistance identifying high-impact not-for-profits and monitoring how grants are used, ensuring that your support has the greatest community impact possible.
