Program and Administrative Coordinator- Application Deadline March 24, 2017

The Program and Administrative Coordinator fulfills a multi-functional and vital role at the Community Foundation of Utah. He/she is responsible for ensuring the fulfillment of the Foundation’s stated mission and values by performing support tasks in the areas of office operations, meeting and event planning, communications, social media outreach, programming, Board of Directors coordination and Executive Director assistance. Primary activities include, but are not limited to:

1. Office Operations

· Schedule appointments and manage office calendar

· Order office supplies

· Manage subscriptions, memberships, and certifications

· Provide support to the Executive Director, including clerical assistance

2. Meeting and Event Planning

· Coordinate all meeting and event planning and logistics, including Love UT Give UT, Social Investors Forum, Invest in Success and other Foundation programs and activities

3. Communications

· Create and distribute newsletters and other external communication materials

· Update website and social media content

· Create impact stories

· Update and maintain Customer Relations Management database

4. Board of Directors

· Coordinate regular Board meetings as well as Board Committee meeting

· Attend Board and Committee meetings, prepare Board minutes, maintain files and calendar

· Support Executive Director in response to Board requests

5. Program

· Assist with all aspects of Foundation programs, including outreach, social media and other support

· Administer scholarship program as needed

· Assist with donor services as needed

· Grant coordination, scheduling and reporting

6. Other Responsibilities

· Special projects as assigned

Qualifications

· Bachelor’s degree and minimum of one year office management work experience

· Excellent research, writing, editing and communication skills

· Excellent interpersonal skills

· Excellent multi-tasking and organizational skills

· Exacting attention to detail

· Proficient with MS Office and highly computer literate

· Experience with social media outreach

· Helpful, friendly, customer service oriented attitude a must

· Resourceful self-starter

· A desire to learn and grow

· Willingness to work some evenings and weekends

· Not-for-profit experience a plus
